I first encountered Marcus Lewis when we were taking part in different Teams at Tuesday Pub Quiz at the Royal Oak in Worthing West Sussex.In the ‘Card Bingo’ interval Marcus seized the opportunity to demonstrate a couple of card tricks to Quiz Master Tony. Leading to Marcus showing more tricks to some of the Teams. I was holding a big celebration party (160 guests invited) a few weeks later and thought how good, and different, it would be to have a roaming magician in addition to a very good DJ as ideal entertainment for my guests. I approached Marcus, and for a very fair fee, he kindly agreed to come along to my party. He turned up at the appointed time and did exactly what was asked of him. My guests were mesmerised – blown away - by his outstanding talent. His props simple – pack of cards, rubber bands, reel of thread, and for the smoking community a lit cigarette - His tricks original, Marcus a member of the Magic Circle. For anyone wanting a reliable very personable addition to a party or corporate event I cannot recommend this young man more highly as the ideal person to fulfil the role. I still get great pleasure from meeting Marcus from time to time, and cannot resist asking him to perform a magic trick – he really has the most incredible talent.

I first met Marcus through a friend and thought that his magic tricks were amazing! I work for an English language school as an events manager, I had to organise a Halloween party for my students, and thought it would be a good idea to get Marcus in and entertain! It went down a treat! All of the students absolutely loved it. They were amazed by the card tricks especially! Marcus arrived on time and got straight to work, he just knew exactly what to do, and couldn’t stop doing tricks all evening!!! Within the school the nationalities and ages are all different and Marcus adapted very well in this environment. Marcus is very reliable and fair in his prices. He uses his personality and initiative to entertain everyone and the best thing about it is that Marcus loves what he does which shines through his work! Everyone had a great evening and I thank Marcus for that!! No doubt I will use Marcus again in the future!

Marcus performed a continual stream of close-up magic tricks from when he arrived until he left, surrounded by a party of enquiring eight year olds who seemed determined to find out how magic works, A very personable and talented magician who kept the adults and children alike totally mesmerised. The tricks didn't stop and his skills at containing and involving the children were as good as the tricks he performed using a range of small props including balloons, bands, cards, pens. I would be delighted to have Marcus back for future parties whatever the age group and to recommend him to others.
